1. Current position
Xuari does not load advertising pixels, audience profiling, or Google Analytics. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights run by default to measure how the directory performs; neither stores or reads anything on your device, so no prior consent is required for them, and you can switch them off at any time. Anything that does store on your device stays off until you allow it, so Xuari uses a compact preference control instead of an interruptive banner.
2. Necessary storage
Necessary storage is used only for core security and user-requested functions and cannot be disabled through Xuari without breaking them.
- Supabase authentication cookies keep signed-in sessions secure and refresh them.
- A preference-decision cookie and local record remember whether language storage is allowed; they do not identify you to Xuari.
- Security mechanisms may use short-lived technical state to protect forms, authentication, and navigation.
3. Preferences
If you choose “Allow language preference,” Xuari stores the current language in a NEXT_LOCALE cookie so later visits can open in that language. Rejecting removes that cookie. You can change this choice from the footer at any time.
4. Analytics
On by default, and you can switch it off whenever you like. Xuari loads Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure loading speed. Neither sets a cookie nor reads anything stored on your device, and Vercel processes the results as aggregated measurement without building an advertising profile of you. Xuari relies on its legitimate interest in knowing whether the directory works; switching Analytics off in cookie preferences is an objection to that processing and stops the scripts loading immediately.
5. Marketing
Not currently used. Xuari does not currently set advertising or cross-site profiling cookies.
6. Other browser storage
The finder may keep a rounded location temporarily in sessionStorage after you request location-based results. It is cleared with the browser session and is not a cookie. The preference choice itself is stored in localStorage.
7. External services
Public profiles use ordinary links to external sites and Google Maps rather than embedded trackers. Choosing to sign in with Google sends you to Google's own sign-in page and back again, and only when you press that button. The editor sends address searches to Xuari's server-side Google Places integration; selecting a place can save address details and coordinates, but this is not used for advertising tracking.
8. Change your choice
Open “Cookie preferences” in the footer on any page. You can keep necessary items only, or allow the language preference and analytics independently, and change either choice at any time. Browser settings can also remove existing cookies and local storage.
9. Future changes
Before adding optional analytics, marketing, embedded media, or similar technology, Xuari must update this policy, define the category and duration, and implement prior consent where required.
