1. Purpose and scope
Xuari publishes a Portugal-focused directory of martial arts schools and senseis. Profiles are intended for discovery and professional context, not personal dossiers, endorsements, qualification guarantees, or safety certifications.
2. Sources we prefer
Editors should use the most direct and current source reasonably available and record a source link and check date where possible.
- Official school, sensei, association, or federation websites and public listings.
- Official professional social pages and clearly attributable public announcements.
- Information submitted by the profile subject or an authorised representative.
- Independent cross-checks when a material fact is unclear, disputed, or safety-sensitive.
3. Accuracy limits
Public information changes. A source link or review date means the page was checked, not that every detail is guaranteed. Visitors should confirm schedules, prices, locations, qualifications, affiliations, and suitability directly before acting.
4. What we do not infer
Xuari should not turn ambiguous wording, photos, or association into stronger claims than the source supports.
- Ranks, titles, qualifications, competition results, or teaching authority without a clear source.
- Lineage, recognition, or endorsement based only on proximity, a shared event, or a photograph.
- Current employment, school membership, or federation affiliation from stale or indirect evidence.
5. Information we avoid
Directory usefulness does not justify unnecessary personal exposure.
- Profiles or identifying details about minors unless a clear, lawful, and reviewed reason exists.
- Private home addresses, personal phone numbers, or personal emails when a professional contact is available.
- Images or other material without a reasonable basis to publish and the necessary rights.
6. Review and visible provenance
Profiles show whether management is claimed, the broad source type, the last source check or update date, and an available source link. Claimed means approved management access exists; it is not a guarantee of ownership, endorsement, or complete accuracy.
7. Disputed information
Xuari should record the issue, check the source, give affected people a fair opportunity to respond, restrict or hide material when appropriate, preserve only necessary evidence, and document the outcome.
8. Report a problem
Send the profile link, identify the specific fact, explain the requested change, and include a reliable source if available. Do not send identity documents unless Xuari requests proportionate evidence through a suitable channel.
